                 Whenever you feel that the machine is slowing down and you have just one or two programs open then it is better to use the task manager.Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to open it.There you can check the amount of memory being used by each process.


                       If your browser is using too much memory ,according to you then it may be a case of memory leak.But always check for viruses .They are notorious for slowing down your PC substantially and you can't even detect with the task manager.

1.Download Process Explorer and set it as the default task manager.This application is very useful and can provide much more information than the built in one.

3.Whenever you feel your machine slowing down open the task manager(process explorer).
4.Whichever process is using too much memory just close that process.

8.Restart your apps.If it was a browser then you can easily restore the opened tabs.

                                                       In my article yesterday about new features of Android 4.2 I said that Android has introduced gesture based typing.Well it sounds similar to Swype but it is much faster.Obviouslt,this is a feature of Android 4.2. But if you want to give this keyboard a try, it’s already available for download under two cases:
Case I: If your device is not rooted, but you have the stock Android keyboard either active or disabled by your OEM (Motorola for example), you simply download the .APK file and install it. Obviously this requires that you allow the installation of apps from unknown sources in your device’s settings. Worse case scenario is that the app simply won’t install if you don’t meet any of the criteria, so our advice is that you try this first. Sadly though, if you’re not running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich or above, this won’t work.

   contacts, SMS, MMS, Internet settings, Wi-Fi passwords, and the like) in case the procedure in this guide
   erases such data.


Instructions

1.Copy the BAKED Blackbean ROM and inverted GApps packages to your phone’s internal SD card.
2.Turn your phone off.
3.Press and hold the Volume Up, Home, and Power buttons until ClockworkMod Recovery boots.
4.Create a NANDroid backup of your current ROM. Go to Backup and Restore and select Backup on the next screen.
5.Select Wipe data/factory reset and confirm the action on the next screen.
6.Select Wipe cache partition and confirm the action on the next screen.
7.Go to the main menu and select Advanced. From there, select Wipe Dalvik cache and confirm the action on the next screen.
8.Select Install ZIP from SD card.
9.Select Choose ZIP from SD card and choose the BAKED Blackbean ROM ZIP file. Confirm the action on the next screen to flash the ROM to your phone.
10.Go back and repeat steps 8 and 9 and flash the inverted GApps package.

1.Go to your windows start button click on it and type “run”; then hit Enter.

2.Type gpedit.msc in the run text field and a system window called Group Policy will pop up.

3.Expand the Local Computer policy directory.

4.Next go to Computer configuration directory >Administrative templates > Network > QOS Packet scheduler > Limited reservable bandwidth.

5.Click the Limited reservable bandwidth option

6.It is set to the option "Not configured" by default but actually it is using 20% of the bandwidth. Check "Enabled" option and set the bandwidth to either 5% or 0%; however, it is advisable to set it to 5%.

7.Click on the Apply button & then OK;

3.Disable automatic updates

            Whenever you are on the internet, most of your installed applications will start accessing the internet; looking for updates to install and can end up consuming a lot of bandwidth.This is allright,if you have a speedy net.But if you have a slow net,then this can slow it further.To increase your internet speed, first of all disable your operating system "Auto update" function then disable auto update in all your installed programs or set them to manual updates.

4.Disable Add-ons In Your Browser

         On your web browser check to see whether you have multiple add-ons running. Though useful, these add-ons can also affect your browser's webpage loading speed.

If you are using Firefox or Internet Explorer browser go to "Tools >> Manage add-ons” and disable any add-ons that are of no use to you.

How Can Apple Steal Customers From Android?

                    Recently,I was at one of my friend's house.He said that he will be buying a new smartphone soon.He said that he was extremely confused between two smartphones.Can anyone guess which are they?
Well,they are none other than the Iphone 5 & the Samsung Galaxy S III.This friend of mine,doesn't really have much idea of cellphones so I asked him to consider Windows Phone as well and well,if he could wait till 2013 then even Blackberry 10 will be there. But he just won't listen to me.This is the kind of effect that Samsung and Apple have created on their customers.Obviously he hasn't used Android or iOS so he didn't know which one would suit his needs.

                             I tried very hard to make him incline towards Galaxy S III(mainly,becaue I am not too fond of Apple,just a personal choice ;don't be angry Apple fans!).But he just won't listen.He knew that the Galaxy S III has more features but insisted that there is something "royal" about the Iphone.He said ,"An Iphone is an Iphone after all".
                           Why I said the above is mainly because i wanted to  emphasise the kind of aura that the two companies have created in the minds of their customers.From this I can conclude that Apple fans will always remain loyal to Apple no matter what happens, that's why Apple is so popular and that's absolutely understandable.Apple has supported Iphone 3GS for such a long time and their UI is not at all laggy (though multitasking is still a bit.......).Now what can Apple do to steal more customers from Android?Here are what I think the possible ways are :

1.Multitasking

                  This is really one of the biggest things that keeps me from accepting iOS.i mean,come on Apple!Its 2015!If Apple is so afraid that it will make their UI laggy then atleast they can provide that option isn't it?Those who need multitasking can enable it while others wh think that it is making the phone laggy can simply disable it.What do you reckon,Apple?

2.New Design

                               

Apple has rolled out the sixth iteration of that groundbreaking platform, and it doesn’t look all that different than the first-generation release pictured above. That’s from 2007.

I’m not saying change, in a visual sense, is an absolute requisite of advancement. Of course Apple doing just fine without widgets, glanceable information, advanced multitasking and notifications, or any of the other features I demand of a modern UI. Evidently I’m in the minority. But competing platforms are continually evolving to bring more functionality to the end user, and the more they flood the market with their offerings, the more iPhone users are going to start sitting up and taking notice of all the things they can’t do as well.

3.Widgets

                 I am not too keen about widgets but there are a lot of people out there who need that.The basic advantage is that you don't really need to open an app,just glancing at the widget and you get all the info.

So maybe you can consider that choice too,Apple?

                             I want to hear from you, though. You out there. You’re on Windows Phone, or Android, or Symbian, or BlackBerry, or (bless you) webOS. This is a geek-oriented site, so you’re on those platforms for a good reason, i.e., not because you bought something without knowing what OS it ran. I am pretty sure that everyone is interested in hacking.So here are a few methods by which people can hack a website.
                 Before hacking any website, a hacker needs to hack the IP address of the site. An IP address can be found by running a simple command on your system.


1.Go to ‘run command’ or press (windows + r), then type cmd and press enter.
2.Use the following command with the URL of the website for retrieving its IP address.
3. Once you have got the IP, you can scan it to see what hacking protections the site is using and what type of loop holes it has.

Once you have successfully found out these, some common hacking methods that can be applied to hack the website.

1.Brutal force attack

            This method does exactly what its name suggests. In simple words, this method uses all possible key matches to decrypt a message or password. It is very simple and effective but extremely slow. Therefore, this method can only be used if other methods don’t work for the site.

2.Cross Site Scripting Method

               This is a type of computer security vulnerability which is found in web applications. Basically the application contains hidden client-side scripts in it. Attackers inject it into web pages when affected users visit a website. This method is used to gain or bypass access controls.

3.Ddos Attack

            If a hacker wants to make a website down rather than gaining access to it, then this method is perfect. Using Ddos, you can overload the resources and render the system unusable or extremely slow so that no one can is able to access the site.

4.SQL Injection

             Basically it’s a code injection technique which works when the user input has an incorrect filter system for string literal escape characters, which are embedded in statements using SQL. SQL injection also exploits security vulnerability when it occurs in the database layer of some applications when user input is weak enough to crack.  Attackers can influence the queries that stream to the back-end database when they use SQL injection.

5.Parameter Tampering
